DİLER IRON & STEEL STEEL MAKING PLANT AND ROLLING MILL
Diler Iron & Steel operates at its modern facility in Dilovası with an annual production capacity of 1.3 million tons. Equipped with advanced Electric Arc Furnace technology, vacuum degassing units, digitalization systems, and comprehensive quality control laboratories, the company ensures high metallurgical precision, consistent product quality, and full traceability. Leveraging its flexible and efficient production infrastructure, Diler Iron & Steel supplies high-quality steel products to both domestic and international markets.
Diler, 900.000 tons of rebar and 450.000 tons of spooled products production capacity at its rolling mill, supplies safe and durable iron materials to the construction industry.
Since 2000, Diler Iron and Steel has been operating with integrated production capability at its modern steel mill and rolling mill facilities located in Kocaeli Dilovası. With an annual billet production capacity of 1.3 million tons, our facility adopts an environmentally responsible, sustainable, and people-oriented production approach through its scrap-based production model. We meticulously implement quality control processes at every stage of production and prioritize customer satisfaction across all our operations. In line with our environment- and people-focused approach, we make sustainability an integral part of our production processes and consistently maintain our position as one of Türkiye’s leading iron and steel producers through our quality-oriented production philosophy.
High-Technology Steelmaking Facility
Our steelmaking facility is equipped with advanced technological equipment, including a scrap preheated electric arc furnace known as finger shaft furnace, a ladle furnace, a vacuum degassing unit, and a continuous casting machine. Through this strong infrastructure, we produce not only conventional construction steels but also low-, medium-, and high-carbon special steel grades such as spring steel, wire rope steel, bolt and nut steel, prestressed concrete steel, and free-cutting steels in accordance with high quality standards.
With the vacuum unit commissioned in 2022, we remove undesirable gases from the steel and reduce the hydrogen content to below 1 ppm. At the same time, we increase natural gas efficiency and implement pioneering practices in line with our carbon-neutral steel production target through the upgrades carried out in the ladle furnace. Through refining processes conducted in the ladle furnace, we precisely control the chemical composition and inclusion cleanliness of the steel. By utilizing robotic temperature measurement and sampling systems, we elevate occupational health and safety to the highest level and continuously optimize our production processes.
Rolling Mill | High Capacity and Wide Product Range
Our rolling mill stands out in the sector with an annual production capacity of 1,050,000 tons of ribbed bars and spooled products. Our walking beam-reheating furnace operates with a capacity of 180 tons per hour. We monitor the entire production process in real time through SCADA and automation systems, maintaining maximum efficiency and traceability.
By applying controlled cooling through double, triple, and quadruple slit rolling methods, we produce high-strength ribbed and plain bars. We manufacture ribbed and plain bars ranging from 8 mm to 50 mm, as well as thermomechanically treated spooled bars in diameters from Ø8 to Ø25 mm with high precision, and we provide customized solutions tailored to customer requirements. We produce ribbed spooled bars within the Ø8 to Ø25 mm diameter range with high efficiency on our modern production line reaching speeds of up to 40 m/sec. Thanks to the fully automated water-cooling system, our products achieve high strength values.
Following production, our products are prepared through fully automated packaging systems and made ready for shipment in compliance with national and international standards.
Quality Control and Digital Infrastructure
Our Quality Control Laboratory oversees all production processes from raw material input to final product through a holistic approach. We conduct detailed analyses to control the geometric and surface quality of square steel billets. Through SAP integration, we accelerate our digital transformation, strengthen coordination between processes, and enhance the effectiveness of our reporting infrastructure.
